I just bought (another) external hard drive. Here is a problem with iTunes I have had in the past. When I use windows explorer to drag my files to the external drive, and then I boot itunes later, iTunes does not know where the songs are -- so the titles of the songs remain in iTunes but if I click on the song, iTunes asks me to locate the song for it. That is a problem when you might have moved a hundred songs.
So... here's my question: HOW can I get iTunes to know about a file(s) I am moving so that later on it will know where they are?
I hope I asked that clearly enough. Perhaps some other people have had to deal with this?
