I live in a 3 story house with a roof deck, and have a linksys WRT54G router and an airport express (old version) in a WDS network with the linksys as the main router and the AE as the remote. The linksys is on the 2nd floor, and usually the AE is on the first floor so we can get good coverage in the living room. Last weekend though I moved the AE onto the roof so I could use airtunes up there. I've done this before without any issues, but this time the airtunes kept cutting out. It was bad enough that eventually I just brought my macbook pro up to the roof and ran the music straight out of that.

What I want to know is, is there a way to monitor the link quality between my mbp and the airport express? My mbp is on the 3rd floor in between the linksys and AE so I'm not sure which one it is connecting to.
