I believe if I use iTunes to delete an app that’s past page 11, I can then drag it fresh from the list onto any page I want. But I don’t want to delete this app and lose its data. Is there any other way to get an app out of “limbo”? I have a TON of apps in limbo (I just use Spotlight to run them) so this one is several pages past the end of page 11.

(The reason: when you restore your phone and you have more apps than fit on 11 pages, the icon order is all messed up. An iTunes bug. I’m not even going to try to get my icons back in order again, but I do want this one app to be visible for badge notifications.)

Thanks for any advice! I don’t want to experiment and lose app data, but I’d love to know of a proven method.
