How can I prevent FW HD partition from mounting?

Hi there

I have a 250Gb FW LaCie that I have split into two partitions. "Partition A" is for general use, but "Partition B" is used to keep a clone of my main hard drive using CarbonCopyCloner (CCC).

I've managed to modify the scheduled CCC scripts so that Partition B is automatically mounted before each scheduled backup script is run, and then auomatically unmounted again when the scrpit ends. It keeps my desktop tidy.

However, when I plug the LaCie into my iBook, I want to see Partition A mount on the desktop, but not partition B. Does anyone know how I can do this?

I am running OS X.4.6.
