How can I put put a couple PDFs on my sisters iPhone without messing up here syncs?

I want to add a couple Pdf files to her iPhone from my mac, but I don't want to mess up her syncs with her computer. If I add some would they delete once she syncs at her home?

I want them in iBooks if possible

Email them to her email address on the phone. Then save them to the phone from the mail app.

In addition to email, if both of you use Dropbox then you can drop them in a shared folder.
