How can I re-start my Purchased Playlist?

I like having the Purchased Playlist on my phone for easy access to my most recent purchases. What I do not like is having songs bought long ago in the list. Is there a way to restart it clean?

I sync via iTunes only by checked Playlists, Artists, etc. on multiple devices.
