How can I read SSD from my 2012 macbook?

My 2012 retina macbook died and I recovered the SSD a few years back.

I'm curious as to what's on it.

I've read about the $55 OWC enclosure but I was wondering if there is a cheaper option using maybe something like this $20 sintec adapter?
