My Grandpa passed away and I am making a video of him over seas in Germany during WWII I found a cassette tape of him telling his stories that I think would be awesome to put in it. Any good ideas how to convert this?

Cant you do this with quicktime?
Open Quicktime, then go to 'File' and select 'New Audio Recording'
Something like this should appear:-

Next open Quicktimes preference pane and change the 'Microphone' setting to 'Line In'.

Now connect a Tape player to your mac using an audio lead from the 'Line Out' on the tape player, into the Mic socket on your mac and press play and the click the 'Record' button in the Quicktime window.
Then just sit back and wait.
Hope this helps
