How can I recover old text messages and contacts that I had deleted on iphone 4?

Hi,

I have deleted text messages and numbers that I actually needed. Is there a way to recover them?

I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1. Is SSH of any use in my case?
