How can I redownload the iPhone firmware to restore my iPhone

There was something wrong with my 1.1.4 firmware that didn't let mail.app to work. I was wondering how to redownload the firmware so that I can restore my iPhone

Download it from here. Then in iTunes, option+click restore and select the firmware file.
