Is there a simple way to get rid of room tone from a track I'm recording in Garageband? I could do this in Soundtrack Pro, but does Garageband have some obvious tool that I'm missing?

Thanks!

I think you'll need the Apple Pro apps for that. FCP. Logic,,
however you might be able to EQ some of it out.

Of course the BEST way is to move the microphone closer or deaden the room.

Can I import into soundtrack pro?

So, I have FCP 7 and Soundtrack Pro. Can I inport my Garageband project into these programs to work on it? If not, what do I do? Export the file as an aiff and then import?
