how can i remove the round lens effect of my photo's in iphoto?

i have been taking a lot of photo's lately and have been importing them into iphoto. all my photo's however have slightly rounded sides due to the effect of the camer's lens. is there a way in iphoto that i can fix this. i know that photoshop cs2 has a filter to fix this but does iphoto??

This is way beyond the capabilities of the current version of iPhoto. If you do not want to fork out for Photoshop (which I understand) you could check out Photoshop Elements, The Gimp or Seashore to see if any of these can help. The latter two are free.

I'm not sure this is the right audience but...
lightroom , that is still free for the time being, does it on the raw files and maybe on other files too.
