Well, after a month's wait, my new iMac arrived yesterday and things haven't gone all that smoothly.

I chose not to run the Migration Assistant at start up. When I went back to it to move a few thousand files in various folders from my PC, the MA took about 3.5 hours to do it. When I checked the iMac, nothing was there except a pile of documents- about 300- all mixed up with no folders to organize them.

I couldn't find pretty much anything from the PC. Some research and I figured out that the MA created an entirely new user with all the files. I've been trying to move them to the primary user account but it is not being very cooperative, telling me I don't have permission, and so on.

So, I thought the best thing to do would be to start over. So, how do I do that? I want to be able to turn the machine on as if I had just taken it out of the box.
