How can I reset file permissions on EHDs?

Hi guys, I recently had what appeared to be a kernel panic, re-installed Snow Leopard and I cannot write anything to my EHDs.

In addition, every time I need to create a new folder it won't give me permission.

Last of all, every time I delete a file I'm asked to enter a P/Word.

Any suggestions?

I am yeah. Also, I repaired my disk permissions on the internal drive, but upon launching Aperture it will refuse to open my library notifying me "make sure your file permissions are set correctly"
