I have just taken delivery of my new iMac 27 with a Fusion drive.

Although I have managed to restore my applications from a Time Machine backup some of them are not working.

I want to start again but not quite sure how to do it. I am guessing that I can re-download Mountain Lion from the App Store but again I am not sure if the OS will be installed onto the fusion drive like it was when it left the factory

Thanks

Just hold Command+R on boot and select to re-install ML (will download it over the Internet). There may be better ways to do it, but that's always worked for me :D

Will this then reinstall Mountain Lion back onto the Fusion drive ?
