Hey all I have final cut studio 6 I am trying to back up the disks because I spent like $600 for the academic version I don't want to handle the original ones

so how do I make dmgs? Would I just use Disk utility? They are on DL dvds so is their a way I can install just from the dmg? because I can't burn DVDs with my mac

Thanks all

EDIT
Ripped all to dmg with disk utility mounted all and installed in 30 min with no prob

I tried googleing but I got stuff about ripping dvds for final cut pro not ripping the final cut pro dvds

I am making a copy of the disks as a dmg will this work? and is it possible to install final cut or any software that has more then one dvd with out burning like can i just click the dmg to install because I can't burn dvds

thanks all
