Simarlar to my prev question . . .
My macbook pro is no longer directly connected to Time Capsule. But the back up is on there from before . . .
So I can mount the disk and search through all the files and folders manually; but I want to find a file on there. Through spotlight or find.
I went on http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/stopspotlightindex.html#Anchor-Rebuilding-49575 and it said ...
"Spotlight will begin indexing any volume as soon as it is mounted, with certain exceptions: CDs, DVDs, and network-attached or shared volumes are not indexed when mounted."
So how do I search the mounted Time capsule?
You guys are my second to last hope!!
Next is Applecare
