I'm in the USA under GMT-5. How can I watch the opening ceremony for the olympic games live via the internet on Friday morning?

I hate NBC's olympic coverage for precisely that reason. They don't allow you to watch things live, you have to wait for primetime.

I can understand that idea in the past, because it wouldn't have been easy to find out the results, but in this day in age, it is highly unlikely that i wont know what happened by the time the tape delayed coverage starts.

Well if you DirecTV On Demand you can watch the sports whenever you want.
