Hello,

I have mac mini and monitor Asus VG236 which supports 120Hz, 3D. Currently, I am using it through HDMI and in "System Preferences" -> "Display" I have only two options 50 Hertz(PAL) and 60 Hertz(NTSC) and Im using 1080p. How can I setup it to 120 Hertz ?

On my HDMI cable following is written: "High Speed Cable"

Thank you!

I think that the HDMI standard only supports 60Hz for 1080p.

You might get more options for refresh rates if you connect using DVI instead.

From reviews of the monitor, it seems the 120Hz rate is for 3D content, where each eye's image appears alternately at 120Hz, thus giving the "illusion" of both eyes at 60Hz.

Do you mean that I will get more than 60 Hertz or just more options between 0-60 Hertz?
