How can I show an opened file in terminal?

I have several pdf files already opened and I want to bring one of the on top without reopening it. How can I do this in terminal?

open 1.pdf will reopen it; open -a preview might bring 2.pdf or others on top.

Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
