What's the point of AT&T Next if I cannot upgrade every year when Apple introduces the new phone? I got my iPhone X on release day but my bill still says I have 2 payments left. Pretty sure the iPhone X was introduced a year ago so not sure why there should still be 2 payments left.

This is making me consider moving over to Apple's upgrade program where you can get the new device when it launches.

Common sense. Read your contract. 12 months of payment the you qualify for an upgrade. Apple came out with phones every year. The iPhone X was the only one that came out a tad later. Therefore it hasn’t been 12 months of payments. Big deal, what the hell is 2 months of payments.

Stevie, I’m on the same boat, however i asked someone who has apple upgrade program, he said when they pre-order the phone, they get charge the first month of the device even if they don’t have the phone, we att start paying for the phone once we receive the device, so technically if you pay that early upgrade fee, is the same as apple paying the first month and they still don’t have the phone. I hope it helps

Thanks

Don't have that problem with the 8+... reached the halfway point with my payment last week. I'm leaning on keeping it for another year though and getting a decent sale price for it prior to upgrade.
