Does anyone know of a way to stop the daily watch notification informing me that WatchOS 6 is available? I have no interest in upgrading my AW3 to Watch OS 6 at this time. Apple is starting to drive me mad by interrupting me every single day to tell me about it.

Is there a way to stop this spam? Thanks!

I’m not sure if this works for the watch, but it may have downloaded watch OS 6 to your phone or watch. If you can delete it, that should stop the nagging at least until the next update. That’s how the phone works, at least.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked and cannot figure out a way to delete the WatchOS update from the phone.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks everyone for the help!

Well, I've researched this and it appears there is no way to stop Apple from spamming you every single day with reminders to install the new WatchOS. What a shame...

I finally figured out a way to get the notifications to stop. I ordered a new Nike AW5.

I was holding on to my AW3 until I saw whether or not 6.1 would fix the battery life issues. Had the battery issues been directly related to the AOD, then I would have just stuck with my AW3 until the AW6 came out. However, I have 3 friends running the last beta of 6.1 and it has fixed the battery issues for all three of them. That's enough proof for me.

It is still aggravating though that Apple has to tap you on the wrist every single day to remind you to upgrade to a new OS. It is truly disappointing that they don't have an option to stop those reminders.

Every company nags or outright forces software updates anymore. I miss the good 'old days too.
