Oh and yeah, just get the ATV and convert your films using handbrake.. AVI's suck for.. well.. everything

f*^k avi's lol seriously. do you torrent your movies or something? there are a lot better higher quality formats out there. avi is just ancient and garbage.

go get some DVDs or Blu-rays encode them in Handbrake and have nice video and audio quality (including surround where possible, etc).

then enjoy seamless distribution among your iOS and computer devices
