Hello, I visit App Store from an iPhone. How can I tell if an app is only for iPhone (i.e. need also to pay separately for the iPad version if I want to run it on an iPad) or for all iOS devices?

Given a list of apps, how can I tell which ones are popular and have good user ratings?

Thanks

I understand what you mean as iPhone apps can list that it's iPad compatible but it's just 2x not native and then there will be an iPad version. I think it's easier to use app shopper to search for the app you want and see.

Or you could use the iPad to buy the app and look in the specs to see if it's iPhone compatible.
