How can I test the logic board on a G5 tower?

I am going to look at a G5 tower that may have some hardware problems. The logic board might have some faults.
I know that the G5 works. But there could be some intermittent faults.

Anyone know:

1. What are the best ways to test it.

2. What software tests are there available? And which ones are the most thorough?

There's somewhere out there an apple service diagnostics for the machine. It does complete hardware tests, and looks like OS 8. Haha.

It is helpful though. You can probably find it on a torrent someplace, just make sure it's the right one for your machine (any good torrent poster will tell you what machines it covers in the description.) I know when OiNK was around these ASD discs were always getting posted on there. I have the one for my G4 Powerbook.

I don't normally advocate torrents of regular software, but it's not like this is something you can go out and buy.
