How can I transfer some pictures from my iPhone to the computer?

I took about 40 pics this weekend and need only those transferred to my computer which is a Windows.

How can I do it?

Connect your iPhone to your computer. After it is recognized, you will see a new drive/device under My Computer. That is where all your photos are stored. You can then copy out what you need.
