how can i turn OFF badges?

even after going into notifications and turning off badge updates, my app still shows the little red number next to my app. how can i make that ish dissappear!?

Maybe you ought to report that to the app developer. Just because you turn off notifications in settings, doesn't mean that the app will respond to that.

Did you ever solve this? I've got the exact same problem with the exact same app. I thought that apps had to respond to the Notifications settings since badges use the iOS API?
