How can I turn off the display in Recovery mode?

Hi,

I'm in a problem. I have no back up or bootable OS X USB, and I can't access Mac OS since I completely formated the hardrive and installed windows.

However, it seems I can access the recovery mode and download the Mac OS and install from there. My internet is very slow. So I need to turn off the display while the OS is downloading from the recovery mode, but I can't do that using regular keyboard keys.

Anybody know how to turn off the display while it's downloading?

Any solution would be a great help.

If you leave it long enough the screen will dim and shut off but I does take a while
