Hi everyone,

I'm French and currently living in China. I bought my Macbook Pro in Hong-Kong and I'm a new user. The App Store keeps reminding me that I have 4 update (Pages, Numbers, Keynote and iMovie) but once I try to update them here's the message I get:

"Your Apple ID is not valid for use in the Chinese Store. To create a new Apple ID, you must switch to the U.S. Store."

What the heck??!! I'm not a US citizen, why would it even suggest that?
I checked online and people mostly recommend to create a new App Store account. I don't know how to do that, if you guys have a good tutorial to follow that would be awesome. What do you guys think I should do?
Also for that reason I can't even start iMovie until it's update!!! Amazing restrictions...

Thanks for all your help in this new mac world for me. Besides this, I love it! :)

EDIT:
I created a new Apple ID for China and it works.
