How can i upgrade my iPad 2 from 4.3.5 to 5.0 not 5.0.1?

I have read online that they are working on the jailbreak for 5.0 and they advised not to upgrade to 5.0.1. I'm currently on 4.3.5 but itunes will only upgrade to 5.0.1. I tried downloading 5.0 firmware and doing the shift + restore i get error 3194. Any help is really appreciated.

You can't. Even with saved SHSH blobs, you can't. The reason is that Apple changed how the blobs are used so that they can only be used one time. 5.0.1 is the only thing you can upgrade to at this time.
