All iPads How can I upgrade my jailbroken ios 6.1 to official ios 7?

I have my ipad mini jailbroken and iam going to sell it to invest in the ipad air.

People here in Portugal dont seem too interested in buying it jailbroken so I might just update it.

How can I safely update it to ios7 without bricking it?

DFU restore through iTunes.

And from what I've heard, it's near impossible to brick a newer Apple device, if at all.

Sorry the noob question, but what is a DFU restore and how can i do it through itunes?

Just downloading and updating to ios7 via wireless doesnt work?
