Hey all I'm in Texas visiting my family and they don't have wifi, I brought my iPad and iPod touch along with me as well as my computer. i wanted to know if i could make my computer a wireless hotspot or tether my computers internet to the idevices through bluetooth? I'm running on a LAN connection right now.

First, Create an Airport network from the Airport Menu.
Second, Open Sharing from System Preferences, and select Internet Sharing, then choose from Ethernet to Airport. Done.

I did this for a long time at my Aunt and Uncle's Farm, but from Dial-up to Airport, and other times from Airport to Ethernet other places.

TEG

Worked perfect except on my brothers DS but that ok he'll survive !! thanks to both of you:)

Does turning your Macbook Pro into a "Router" allow you to surf on it while it is being a "router"?

I am doing just that now. In my dorm, there is only one ethernet port, so I am using internet sharing from ethernet to airport, while my friend who is visiting is watching hulu off my airport network.
