Hi:

When network is off (reachability is negative), I would like to "bring up"
(or invoke) System Network Setting, and place my App in the background.

I already set "UIRequiresPersistentWiFi" in the info.plist to be YES.

Is there any document/sample code for reference?

Thank you.

I read this and laughed. Then it occurred to me you were serious! Even if this could be done, and I don't believe it can, you shouldn't do it anyway.

Network multitasking only allows your application to continue running (in the background) after the user has exited your application if it's doing something with the network like uploading or downloading something.

Multitasking does not allow your application to automatically open.

Hi:

Let me re-state my question in more detailed.

1. Turn "Wi-Fi" & "Cellular Data" off in the Settings.

2. Then launch Safari

3. An alert view pop up saying

"Cellular Data is Turned Off. Turn on cellular data or use Wi-Fi to access data"

4. At the bottom of the alert view, there are two buttons : Settings & OK

5. If I choose Settings button,
then the Safari will be in the background, and the Network setting will pop up.

==> What I need is how to achieve Step 5, which is to launch Network setting.

Thank you.

My device is iPhone 4. Is this a new feature in iPhone 4?

If it is, any clue/api to enable this?

Thank you˜˜˜
