EDIT admin can someone delete I put in the wrong section.

I like the chemical brothers.
all my music is in iTunes Match.

when im getting in the shower, I generally tell Siri on my iPhone XS 'play the chemical brothers' and she does. but I have loads of their music and she always starts with the same not very good song.(why isn't it random?)

so I create a playlist with my favourite 20 songs or so. call it 'the chemical brothers'. it plays fine.

when I say to Siri now 'play the chemical brothers' she goes rightly to play everything by the chemical brothers, and plays the same annoying song every time. I know I could delete it but that's not the point.

when I say to Siri 'play the playlist, the chemical brothers' or 'play the chemical brothers playlist' she hears me perfectly as it dictates correctly, but she then says one of two messages

'I cannot find any music by the chemical brothers'

or

'sorry I am having trouble accessing your music at this time please try later'

however I have another playlist called 'the best' which is the best songs from every band in my collection of 25,000 songs.

that plays fine every time. even if I say it just before or just after asking for the chemical brothers one.

Sounds like Siri is confused because “The Chemical Brothers” can mean either your playlist or a command to play songs from them in general. Try renaming your playlist with a more unique name.
