how can transfer my contacts on my new iphone to computer?

i have to restore the iphone and my contacts will be erased but i dont have my contracts on my computer anymore just on my iphone. so how can i transfer them? thanks

Grab a free MobileMe account and sync them up to the cloud before you restore - then just sync them back down.

I usually add contacts on my phone, plug it into my computer and usually, those new contacts get added to my address book automatically...I highly doubt it's a one-sided sync...
