I am aware that nVidia was sued for the 84000/8600 models of the 8x000 line, but searching these and other forums, the issue seems to have affected the 8800 card as well.

What's the procedure for bringing a class action lawsuit against nVidia and Apple with regards to the failure of the 8800 GPU?

I've had this card replaced once in the past and now it has failed again, and I am 3 months out of warranty. Apple isn't willing to repair it out of warranty without a fee. Even if I did get it replaced, I'm certain it will fail again having read these forums. So, I have a useless beautiful $2000 piece of aluminum sitting on my desk, and I'm sure other people are in the same situation.

Thoughts? Opinions? Rants? Let's hear it.

Detailed instructions on how to make $1M on a class action lawsuit in two easy steps.

  1. Start with $2M
  2. Spend it on a Class Action Lawsuit
