I purchased apple care plus for my iPhone 5 however I have no idea how I know if it's been activated yet. Is there a website that makes it clear whether or not Apple care is now active? Interestingly the Apple support page tells me that my iPhone has two years of technical Support but only one year of hardware service which makes no sense. Yes I know I can call AppleCare but I was looking for a quick way to check online.

i bought it yesterday and still not updated yet - i assume it takes them a few days? i'm surprised it's this slow?

I just came from the Apple Store and it was a big hassle. I got the phone yesterday, but they had issues tonight with adding Applecare. They finally had to call Applecare from the store and have me talk to someone for a while.
I think they system for adding it has a few glitches to say the least.

Does it explicitly say you have AppleCare? How is it worded at that link, confirming you have AppleCare?

I just noticed that iOS 6 allows you to copy your serial number and other information from Settings now. Well done.

Why not try it yourself?

Because I did and this is what it shows:

It doesn't say AppleCare but it says tech support ends in 2 years (but repairs and service ends in 1 year).

Makes no sense--

Anyone else seeing this on their account?
