how can you tell if your ipad 3 has a the yellow tint?

I dont know how this myth has lasted so long and has seemingly permeated every single persons mind on the planet.
It's not glue. The glue issue was spots of yellow, not a uniform yellow tint.
Secondly, theres no glue holding the screen to the digitizer in the iPad
It's not glue, and will NOT go away. 100%
Buy it at the store and have them help you set it up. When you first turn it on at the store, and begin to set it up, you should notice. Complain about it, and have them grab you another one. They might tell you that it will go away after the glue settles. Just insist on another one. You'll get it.
Grip your pasty little hands into fists and beg the clerk to open the box and turn it on
Can't wait until next week when most people's mind will adjust and TADA what was all the fuss about. For the rest of you return your Ipad and buy a Playbook or Xoom.
i gotta say mine is becoming less yellow with time compared to another new ipad that my wife doesnt want

Hi yep Kre62 is one of the few people that knows its NOT glue
Where did this whole glue thing come from anyway,
if its has the Yellow tint sorry folks its there for life no it doesn't fade,
its not self correcting, us 21.5 in imac users had the yellow tint from day one(ok some really good panels made it thru but I didn't get one dam it)
with the LG IPS panels my imac is now around 2yrs old and the yellow tinted
screen is the same now as it was from day one.............
To the OP you asked how to tell if the screen is yellow, turn on on and see
or just compare to any other lcd led panel.
I may just be able to cope with a even tinted screen but uneven color cast no way.
Our release date for the ipad is this friday.
Just read Sharp panels are almost ready to go into the second production run
think I might hold off and hope for one of those rather than the Sunny Samsungs...............
