How is it possible that AT&T Ipones 3G are avaible on Ebay?

Is it possible to get out of the contract?

If a person is eligible for an upgrade, the only stipulation to getting the phone cheaper and selling right away, is the 2 year contract agreement.

They can just take an old phone and activate it for use on their 2 year contract, and make off with profit from their iPhone!

Make sense?

But don't they still have to pay for the 3G data plan for the full 2 years?

No

The Contract, iPhone, and 3G Data plans/Text are totally separate of eachother.
You can do what you want with the iPhone, but just keep your money coming to ATT for the next 2 years..

I had this confirmed from a CSR in core store today.
