Okay, so a few weeks ago, I posted this thread:

And none of these solutions worked.
Anyway, the past few weeks I've been relying on borrowed Mac's do complete paid jobs... A massive headache indeed.
Tonight I decided to download the trial version of CS3 and see if that worked. It installed fine, but like all the other (Elements, PS 7, and CS... I don't own CS2) crashed after launch. It's only the Photoshop family that's doing this, but oddly, Lightroom still boots fine.
Now, I know people will suggest a reinstall of Tiger, but I really rather not do this right now, seeing as the system is running fine as is. Plus, with thousands of photographs, expensive apps (a lot of which were purchased via downloads not CDs...), and years worth of custom settings, a reinstall will be a gross hassle, even though I have the external drives to store stuff.
But I guess I'm asking, why is PS crashing for me, and why every version?? I'm running 10.4.9, and am fully updated. I've tried all the basic fixes and more. I'm just a bit lost, and Adobe tech folks have yet to get back to me, despite my numerous e-mails.
Any ideas/tech help/insight would be wonderful!
