How come i cant open AHT?

i restart the computer and hold D and nothing happens.

i installed mavericks yesterday and my computer randmly restarted because of a problem so id like to get it fixed.

where do you see that? no idea why it wont work. im on mavericks btw...

it worked a few weeks ago, just tried about 5 times. shutting down. pressing the power button then holding the D button the entire time and nothing.

what gives

also ran disk utility which is what i think i did a few weeks ago instead of AHT and it said the disk is OK... hmmm

where do you see that?

It says to start form a powered down state on the Apple page I linked. Dunno why it won't work for you.
