I have the following problems and can anyone help me please....

How come I dont see the 3g icon on the top of my phone if it is a Iphone 3g?

What does the "grey E" and the "blue E" mean next to the AT&T on the top of my iphone?

Also in maps lets say it tells you to go to 205West freeway and you do why doesnt it automatically go to the next direction and you have to do it manually? Does the maps talk? and if I drive off my route will it re-route my directions?

Thank you.

None of these are problems as such.

You obviously don't have 3G signal where you are right now, so the iPhone will revert to a slower connection (Edge or even GPRS).

This is Edge, and signifies that you are connected to a slower data network. When in 3G signal this will change to '3G', and when in GPRS this will change to a period in a square.

Unfortunately a limitation of Google Maps at the moment.

Does the maps talk?

Again, unfortunately not.

No again I'm afraid. Google Maps is not very good as a Sat Nav device whilst driving. Rumor has it that turn by turn software like TomTom will be available for the iPhone by Christmas :D

Thank you.

No problem
