What do you guys think about an Apple desk?

It would integrate all apple products. E.g. have ports for ipod and iphone etc!

or like when you plug in your iphone or mac or pad or anything then the desk surface turns into a big touch screen in which you can use your sthings!

What do you think it should include/ look like??

that would be pretty good, but for all the mac geeks out there, it would have to be obscenely large to cater for those who have mac pro's sat on the desk, very strong ( for the previous reasons ) and very simplistic, ergo, it wouldnt happen, if it ever did it's cost would be beyond worth haha,

No. It'll be overpriced, underfeatured, and Apple will decide what things you are allowed to put on your desk.

I like my desk, so I'm not sure if I'd be interested, but I was thinking the other day how I'd love for my desk to have a built in iPhone dock.

But when the drawer finally is supported, it will be the most revolutionary drawer ever. Users, having forgotten what it was like to use drawers, will comment that "They can't believe they ever managed to get by without one before."

That silver design is urrrrgly!!

I dont get the whole draws thing?? lol Forget what apple would make if you could design it would would it have?

Steve Jobs would probably call it magical and revolutionary and find some way to make it seem like Apple invented desks.

It would have a built-in lamp with an integrated bulb. When the bulb goes, Apple will very generously replace it for you, for a reasonable fee, once you send the entire desk back to them. Or, just buy a new desk each time.

I can hear the keynote now.

The iDesk will provide you with a simultaneous working and sitting experience unlike you have ever experienced. It's simple elegant design, powerful ergonomic features, and versatile user interface will make you 78.4% more efficient and 63.9% more motivated while working or simply use it for recreational activities and find yourself experiencing 85.2% more fun.

I'm so excited I can't wait. I'm off to start a "Waiting for Arrandale iDesk" thread. :D

If you're handy with the wood and tools, make your own!
Then you dont have to wait for revision b from Apple to include draws!
Amen. That's what I love about my garage shop -- if I can picture it, I can usually build it. The problem with making things too custom is that you never know when Apple will change technologies on you. Build in a desk with a charging dock this year, and in a couple years Apple has switched everything to their new optical connector. Bam, your desk suddenly either becomes a lot less useful, or needs to be re-configured. Of course, you can build in some flexibility, but ultimately it's hard to predict where technology is headed out past a couple of years. When I build furniture, I'm usually planning on it being around for 50-100 years.

And personally I'd rather Apple moved to induction charging and wireless syncing for everything but OS updates (for obvious security reasons) for their mobile devices. I don't like having to plug my phone in to get podcasts and playlist changes to take effect.
