On the day after the 15th anniversary of the original Air, releasing a 15" MacBook Air today would be my dream laptop. No need for any fancy Keynote, just a press release stating that the 15" model has the same components as the 13" M2, but now at 15". I'd scoop up the Midnight model in a second.

I know it's a long shot, but that would be awesome.

Stop - Gurman has hinted that it will be the 14-inch + 16-inch MBPs with the M2 chips, nothing more.

If you expect anything more through press releases, you will be disappointed.

Did I say I expected more? I said it would be cool, but nice attitude.

Yes, that would be an awesome suprise but likewise would warrant more than a press release. If rumors are true, expect to see it in a spring event or WWDC.

That being said, the airpods Max were announced as a press release randomly in december so that would be an amazing surprise indeed!

its nice to see something, anything, released on M-series laptop lineups

been a minute and even longer for the Pro models

I think it would be great to see a MacBook Air with a 15" screen. I wish they would just drop the air name and call it MacBook and then there is the MacBook Pro. The air naming is redundant now IMHO.

I am torn if I would get a 15" simply because I really like the weight and size of the current M2 MBA. In order to use a larger screen the entire notebook is going to have to be larger and to keep the rigidity they will have to use more aluminum which is going to add more weight. If they can keep the same rigidity of the M2 MBA in the 15" without too much extra weight then it would be perfect. We will just have to wait and see.

An M3 MBA or MacBoom 15" would be pretty sweet.
