That would be awesome if we could copy and paste lyrics directly from safari to your songs. Or maybe apple can just add the lyrics for us in the next itunes update. How hard would that be?

Um no i have itunesfriend that does the same but it got like 60 % of lyrics wrong for the songs. And i just want to add them right from the mobile safari to the songs without syncing my ipod . Why cant Apple just add this feature?

Well, i don't know of any software for this directly for iphone, and i really doubt apple are going to do anything about it. They've never bothered doing anything with the lyrics for songs other than allow you to tag the mp3 with lyrics. I would keep an eye out for an iphone app that does this for you. Or if your an app developer then, well, theres an idea for ya, lol.

By the way, I've found gimmesometune much better for finding lyrics to songs. Out of all of my songs, only 2-3 have been innacurate.

Ok ill try Gimmesometune but i see its only for mac. Is there one for windows xp?

Not possible.

The media in your iPhone is only a copy of what is on your device. Their is no information that gets synced back to your PC's files, aside from play count and ratings, since they are playlist based.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3G (white): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/7A238j Safari/525.20)

Harmonic is a very good very accurate lyric grabbing widget that automatically adds the lyrics to the song.

I'll second that. Harmonic rocks (no pun intended) :)

apple can't implement that feature because 1) nothing syncs back to your computer from the iPod/iPhone and 2) that feature is superfluous to many users. 3) i'm sure somehow it would violate copyright laws. especially if iTunes was wrong about the lyrics.

aside from that,

i can't think of a time when i actually wanted to know the lyrics to a song - and if i did there are many 3rd party apps that do this service for you.

maybe you just used a poorly written application?

Again, this isn't entirely correct. Ratings and Play counts are synced back and updated on your PC.
