How could I access a sensitive keychain file when I don't have my macbook ?

I didnt take my macbook with me, but I took some files in case I'll need.
I asked about the idea of using the Macbooks in the apple store to read this file, but I was advised not to trust this method.
Then I could download and install a virtual machine, but downloading of 5GB is the difficult part. Maybe I could download a tiny virtual machine ? Do you have other ideas ?
