I am one of those that wanted the white 4. When it was delayed, that put the upgrade on hold for me. Wondering if anyone here was similar.

How did the 4's white delay affect your iphone purchases?

I waited until they delayed it the second time....then I got a black. I upgrade my phone every year and waiting any longer would jeopardize that.
I held out till August last year when they moved it out again, and went ahead and ordered one in black. Then my sister (on my moms plan not on mine) was about to buy a 3GS this year rite after the white 4 came out, and so I paid for her the upgrade, and got a white one, and gave her my wife's 3GS, which was a wind for all of us. Now I will give my white one to my wife and use my upgrade on the 4S.
I have to say that I like the white much more than the black one. Whenever I pick up my wife's black 4, it's almost like the print is harder to read. I don't know why, I just enjoy it more. Not to mention the finger prints show up much less on the white.
