So i was wondering how you guys paid or going to pay for your Macbooks and/or iMacs?
I know that Bill me later is much easier to get then the Juniper visa from apple.
I will be using Billmelater for my mbp purchase soon :)

EDIT: Cash can also be your Debit Card.

I paid with the Juniper Visa. Though, not to be stupid...I made sure I had plenty of money so that I could be sure to finish paying it off well before the six months of no interest was up. I ended up paying it off like two months before it was up, about 91% of it from working, the other 9% (about $100) was Christmas money from my mom and grandma and stuff.

what i think is best if you want to buy somthing and you have the money for it then just buy it, dont use any credit. no more worries on how to pay back later or paying for a mbp for the rest of your life :p
not to mention you dont have to pay any intrest ^_^

edit: so right now most of you used cash

I'll be paying with Credit Card simply because there is no apple store anywhere even close to me and I want the education discount and free iPod so Im buying it online. The credit card bill will be paid in full before it's due.

Well, to be fair, there was actually no risk for me, as my mom paid it off ahead of time, and I was lucky enough to be able to pay her back like a week later. Best $1000 I've ever spent, I'd say.

I usually buy from the Apple online store, but even if I'm in store I use a credit card rather than cash for the extra protections that grants us under UK law. The cards are paid in full, however, so I guess it's just paying in cash really with a few weeks interest-free.

My credit card companies make a killing off of me. Not :D

i bought my macbook with cash

(but my father got a MacPro + cinema display with his university research money...lucky)

Awesome! Way to go my friend!;)

I used a credit card with a 1% rebate on purchases, bought it from Amazon
and got a $75 rebate and no sales tax. Then I bought a 4 GB memory
upgrade from OWC for $90 when ram prices bottomed last month.

its so weird to buy something expensive with cash

My friend gave me about $900 in cash to buy him a laptop at circuitcity so i did and when it was time to pay i pulled out this huge roll of money (lol it was all kinds of $ bills) and gave it to the guy and he was looking at me like wtf dude! lol he didnt even know how to count all of that really. i was there for like 15 minutes, and this other guy came and helped him :D

I used half cash and half a no interest credit card. Not literally cash, but I mean I used cash from my bank account to pay half the cost, not a credit card. lol Obviously I couldn't pay with wads of cash online.
