I dont think so. Why would you want to do this?
I think you can on your iTunes account.
I have been told that calling apple support and asking them to delete the apps is the only way. I have not done this but I have hidden apps that I have purchased. I have downloaded and tried a lot of free apps and decided to not use them so I just hide them.Is there anyway to delete a app in purchased list ?

You can hide them using iTiunes

It used to be possible to do it directly on the phone

but I just tried it (9.3 beta) and it didn't work. There's no swipe-to-hide option.
Doesn't work for me on 9.2.1, can't swipe. It does work on 9.2.1 - swipe from right to left.
I don't see this capability going away, as Family Sharing needs to provide a way for family members to hide purchases they don't want other family members to access.
Same here. Can't swipe.Doesn't work for me on 9.2.1, can't swipe.

Works on my iPad, not iPhone. 9.2.1.
I have family sharing and can't swipe right or left on purchased apps on my iPhone App Store. It has to be done in your account settings via iTunes. That is currently the only way. If you have Family Sharing you can do it from the iPhone.
I haven't checked in a while though so maybe things have changed.
Then you need to do it via iTunes.I have family sharing and can't swipe right or left on purchased apps on my iPhone App Store.
Only if you having family sharing you can hide apps ?
I tried the above suggestions and i cant find how to hide the apps, i dont have 'swipe-to-hide option' on my phone, as well as i cant find it in my account settings via iTunes.
If you use Family Sharing, you can swipe left on a purchase on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to hide it. Any items that you hide will also be hidden from the other users in your family group.
Weird. On my iPhone the swipe left to hide is all of sudden working. It works for my purchase but not my wife's or son's.
Understood. That's the way it should be. It was just weird that hiding my own purchases wasn't working earlier but now it is.You cannot hide purchases made with someone else's account - that's expected. They don't want one family member messing with the decisions of another family member.

What type of device do you have and what version of the iOS are you using?
I tried both suggestions from above on my PC and on my device and could get neither to work.

I got it to work but after I hide the app it shows back up when refreshing purchases.
