How do format iCAL to brand new?

hi everyone.
just wondering how do i reset and delete everything on ical? I want to start new and fresh because my other one was so messy. please help. thanks in advance. i have leopard btw.

I'm not in front of my mac right now, but I deleted my calendar a while ago and from memory I think I just right clicked on the calendar name in the pane on the left side of ical and there was a delete option there. Will have a look when I get home tonight

Select the calendar(s) in the pane on the left side
Ctrl-click
Delete
